Anything at all. What's the most Oklahoma way to get around?
Why do I ask, you say? Because I'm tired of hearing that the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is the Ford F-Series. I'm more interested in what the best vehicle for the state should be.
If you think the most Oklahoma vehicle happens to be the F-Series, then by all means put it down.
And as always...
Choose wisely!
This is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a year-long 51-part series of Opposodes where I gather OppositeLock's view of America in the form of cars.

I thought someone asked this a couple of months back. And I thought the answer was Passat TDI.

If Twister taught us anything it's that the best ways to get around are:

I don't know. I only know what the best car is for Oklahoma *trolling*. Specifically, something fast enough to run from an angry mob in pickups, and with a loud enough sound system to blast the soundtrack to Oklahoma! at over 100dB to carry across all the fields.

When I lived there I drove a conversion Suburban. I had an 88 Trailmaster but the internet seems to have forgotten this car so here's a 99. There were a couple other outfits that did them, but I don't remember their names.
Two CRT TVs to distract from the flat faceless landscape (had a SNES wired up to mine), massive leather thrones, truck cred so wannabe cowboys don't give you shit, goes anywhere, tows most anything.

Look, I would probably argue that my car (WRX) is probably a pretty solid choice for Oklahoma. I live here, and that's what I bought.
It's fun to drive, MPGs are OK (though we consistently have some of the cheapest gas in the country, so that helps), and is generally pretty useful.
The big kicker is the weather.
Spring: Tornadoes and monsoon-level rain
Summer: Dry as a bone and 100+ degrees
Fall: Pretty nice
Winter: Ice storms
So since you asked what the best car (singular) is for Oklahoma, you need something that you can confidently pilot through all of these conditions. I submit that the WRX fills this need.

A wood-paneled station wagon. Wagoneer or Jeep Cherokee.

2015 Mustang (any of the new tuner ones) for some reason, I wouldn't say the Challenger or the Camaro.
Any huge ass truck. (I personally like Lexuses, but going to school in Oklahoma has converted me to putting a 2015 F-150 Platinum on my want list.)
Honda CR-V (It's not even funny how many there are in Tulsa at least.)

I would say a nice big Caddy from the late 70's or early 80's. Something that floats down the road since you wouldn't need to go around any corners.

Because long, straight, high-speed turnpike runs with off-road ability.
But really, F-150. Cracks me up about the Altima...
FWIW, I live in OK and have an E90 M3 and a newly acquired '03 Pathfinder 4x4.

It's "Native America" so I almost said canoe, and then realized there is not that much water there. So this must be it.

"Oklahoma has more man-made lakes than any other state, with over one million surface acres of water and 2,000 more miles of shoreline than the Atlantic and Gulf coasts combined."

But they were made AFTER the indians, so it doesn't really apply to my native theory.

Good point, but we do have rivers here, too. The eastern half is a lot more green than "red dirt".

Ha! Just trying to correct misconceptions. Before I moved here in 2000, I just thought OK was as flat as Kansas and as dry as west Texas. That's fairly accurate for the west half, but in the east half (around Tulsa, where I live) it's much nicer. I'm on the 15th floor, and there are trees as far as the eye can see from my window.

Since the ratio of GT/SS to V6 here is about 10/1, I'd have to go with V6 Mustangs and Camaros.
